Makena completed her studies at McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario where she graduated in 2019 with an honours Bachelor of Arts degree, majoring in communications and software engineering. Her education helped develop both communication and technical expertise that became instrumental to her professional life.
Professional Career
Makena was a medical sales representative. Specializing in surgical sales, she provided vital support for vascular and cardiac surgeons at leading organizations such as LeMaitre Vascular and Hologic Inc. This meant providing advanced surgical equipment, training healthcare providers, and assuring quality procedures.
Prior to medical sales, she held roles in sales and marketing at Labatt Breweries of Canada that showed her versatility as well as strong client relationship building abilities.
Personal Life and Relationship
Makena White first became widely known due to her relationship with PGA Tour golfer Jake Knapp, which began dating in August 2023 and went public after Knapp won at Mexico Open early that same year. Together they shared an immense passion for sports; Makena would often support Knapp during tournaments she supported him at.
